What is conflict?
Over the years, organizations
have sought out world renown theorist to help solve the problem of decaying
organizational standards. The consensus is almost unanimous that organizations
success has to be based on a collaborative effort. Leaders as well as followers
have to know that they are both valued members of the organization and that
they play an intricate part in its overall success. Reciprocally, organizations
have an obligation to their shareholders, the general public and their
communities to ensure their continued success. Often times, these two
objectives seem mutually exclusive and almost impossible. Organizations, much
like living organisms, have to continue to grow and evolve in order to meet
it’s communities growing needs and desires. Organizations have many moving
parts but my plan is to examine one of its most under analyzed components,
conflict.
